Des Jardins is a nationally recognized designer/builder of classical
estates throughout Virginia with over 20 years experience. As a builder,
Des Jardins holds multiple Gold Award’s of the Parade of Homes, presented
by the Home Building Association of Richmond. As a designer, Perry Des
Jardins has won numerous awards including “Best of Show” at
a regional conference.
The degrees and certifications attained by Perry Des Jardins speak of
his admirable knowledge and tireless pursuits of detail true to form
in all facets of classical architecture. His educational pursuits include
MIT curriculums, Northeastern University, and George Washington University
programs of engineering, business and landscape design. An active member
of the Institute of Classical Architecture (ICA), he is currently enrolled
in studies in Europe and throughout America’s classical cities.
Perry
is also a member of the American Institute of Building Designers (AIBD),
Congress for New Urbanism (CNU) and the National Council of Building
Designer Certification (NCBDC) in which he is designated as a Certified
Professional Building Designer. The NCBDC program is the only certification
for residential and frame building designers in the nation.
Perry resides in Richmond’s historic Fan District. As an active
participant in his community Perry is currently on the restoration committee
responsible for a three year restoration project of The Sacred Heart
Cathedral located in Richmond. The Sacred Heart Cathedral is listed on
the National Register of Historic places and is currently commemorating
its centennial celebration.
He holds licenses for contracting, real estate,
